Little Candle-Eyed Museum and Old School Library
It was born from a private initiative. The founders are Clara Mangione and her daughters, Antonella and Roberta Muzio, who is also its director and a member of ICOM (International Council of Museums). The museum is located on the ground floor of the old family home, along the main street of the old town, where some of the events recounted in the "narrative museum" took place. The carriage, the museum's logo, is a symbol of female emancipation ante litteram, which inspires the exhibition. Women thus become protagonists of rituals and rules, leaving their mark in the genealogy, names, symbols, and development of the microhistory represented. Reviewed by the Touring Club.
