The historic center of Sambiase is unique in its urban structures known as "I VAGLI," a place rich in history and nestled in an area with Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Benedictine presences and a highly valuable naturalistic context (Mitoio Park) just two kilometers from the Terme di Caronte.
Sambiase is home to poets, philosophers, and great politicians such as Franco Costabile, Francesco Fiorentino, and Giovanni Nicotera, whom we will recount along the way.
Upon request, a guided tour to the hot springs and the remains of the Benedictine Abbey of S. Eufemia is also available.
