Fishing Tourism in Selinunte – Roots & Sea

An experience in the village of Marinella di Selinunte designed for the Tourism of the Roots initiative. Aboard a traditional boat, participants join local fishermen, discovering techniques, family stories, and maritime traditions passed down through generations. The sea becomes a living memory of coastal communities, a journey of work, sacrifice, and emigration. The experience concludes with a tasting of the catch, prepared according to traditional Selinunte cuisine, in an authentic journey through identity, culture, and Mediterranean flavors.
