An ancient residence nestled in the Sassi, Casa Noha is a place of memory and understanding of Matera's millennia-old history, a unique gateway to the city and the ideal starting point for surprising walking tours of the Sassi and the Murgia Park. Managed by the FAI (Italian Environment Fund), this historic residence, donated by two local families in 2004, offers a captivating multimedia experience that explores the region from various perspectives: from architecture to art history, from archaeology to the history of cinema, offering visitors a complete reconstruction of the city's history, from prehistoric origins to the present day.

From November to March open from 10am to 5pm. From April to October open from 10am to 7pm. Weekly closing day is Wednesday.
