Museum of Pastoralism

The Castelsaraceno Museum of Pastoralism is unique in the Lucanian demo-ethno-anthropological museum landscape. A temple of local identity, a space for encounter and discussion, the Museum is an innovative and dynamic place. Visitors are welcomed by an exhibition itinerary equipped with the most modern technology for the enjoyment of cultural heritage, ensuring a full immersion in knowledge that transforms the museum exhibition into an experience. The emotional journey-experience offered by the Museum unfolds across four themes, each developed in its own exhibition halls: the Hall of Time, the Hall of Space, the Hall of Knowledge, and the Hall of the Memory of Pastoral Culture.

Ordinary entrance €5.00;

Entrance for children aged 0 to 5 is free.

Tickets to visit the Sheep Farming Museum can be purchased exclusively at the tourist information office located at Piazza Piano della Corte, no. 10.
