Bridge between the two Parks
At 586 meters long, the Bridge between the two Parks is the longest Tibetan bridge in the world. 1,160 steps to be covered in the void, at a slow pace so as not to miss even a millimeter of the spectacular view that unfolds all around. An extraordinary feat of engineering, 586 meters long and 80 meters high, it connects the Pollino National Park to the Lucanian Apennines-Val d'Agri Lagonegrese Park. From the oldest part of the village, the bridge between the two Parks extends to a rocky spur between the slopes of Mount Raparo and Mount Castelveglia, like a gateway to the secrets of still little-explored forests.
